My mom has fond memories of getting these treats at her Elementary School in Pocatello Idaho. At my elementary school we would get baked peanut butter bars but I honestly like these better. They taste like
a Reeses rice crispy treat and they are SO simple.
Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter
1 1/4 c powdered sugar
4 T. Melted butter
1 1/2 c Rice Krispies
1/2 (12 oz) pkg. milk chocolate chips
Directions: Mix all ingredients together and press into a 8" or 9" square pan that has been buttered. Melt chocolate chips and spread over the top of the peanut butter mixture. Cool and cut into 2 1/2 inch squares
* You can also press them into molds
